A good GP appointment is short, and it’s easy to freeze and forget the point. This tool turns what you’re feeling into a clear, concise message you can read out or hand over - the timeline, what you’ve already tried, what worries you, and what you’d like to happen. It doesn’t diagnose anything; it just helps you say it well.
This organises your own words - it is not medical advice or a diagnosis. Your GP decides what’s appropriate. Everything stays in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere. If you have alarm symptoms (chest pain, trouble breathing, severe or sudden symptoms, blood in stool, unexplained weight loss), don’t wait for an appointment - seek urgent care.
It happens, and a few calm phrases help. You can ask: “Could we note in my records that I raised this and what was decided?” - “What would need to change for you to investigate further?” - “If this doesn’t settle in [time], what’s the next step?” You’re also entitled to ask for a second opinion. Documentation and a clear follow-up plan are reasonable to request.
