PRIVATE HEALTH RESEARCH CONSULTANCY

Private health research for complicated questions.

Private Health Research Consultant

I organise the records, examine the evidence and set out what is established, what remains uncertain and what to ask next.

01 · A finished Brief

This is what you receive.

BRIEF 01 Record cutoff 7 July 2026 Revision round unused

"Do my differing thyroid and iron results explain three months of exhaustion and unrefreshing sleep, and what should be tested or asked before my next GP conversation?"

  • Established

Roughly three months of reduced energy, unrefreshing sleep and impaired concentration.

  • Established

The April private panel put TSH slightly above that laboratory's range; the June NHS repeat was within range.

  • Established

Ferritin was flagged low in April and sat near the low end of the June range; neither report labels anaemia.

  • Uncertain

Whether the April result was a true rise, an assay difference between the two laboratories, or unrecorded supplement timing.

  • Ask next

Which thyroid test to repeat and when, and whether the iron picture needs the fuller history first?

From the Sample Clarity Brief, a fictional composite shown as a Brief is delivered. Read all nine sections.

What matters.

What's uncertain.

What to ask next.

02 · One path, two stages

Start complete. Continue only if useful.

  1. Clarity Brief

    £395 fixed

One agreed question, a 45-minute preparation conversation and a 3 to 5 page written Brief. A clear separation of what the records establish, what remains uncertain and what to ask next.

The Clarity Brief is complete on its own. Nobody must subscribe to receive a useful result.

  2. Monthly Follow-Through

    £325 per month

Available after a completed Clarity Brief, while the same agreed question remains active.

One follow-up question a month, up to 10 pages of new records, a 30-minute review conversation and a 1 to 3 page What Changed update.

Independent research and preparation that works alongside your clinicians.

03 · The monthly proof

Each month closes with What Changed.

Four short states, written to be read in a minute. This preview continues the same fictional composite as the sample Brief.

  • New

The 1 August repeat panel came back within range again, and a 7 August clinician letter proposes a six-month review.

  • Changed

The supplement was paused before that panel, so it is the first result taken without it.

  • Still unclear

Why the April result differed: two later panels narrow it, but cannot separate a true rise from an assay difference.

  • Ask next

Is six months the right interval, and what change should trigger an earlier review instead of waiting?

04 · The public research

Read the standard before you pay for it.

05 · Who answers for it

About

Hussain Sharifi, who researches and writes every Brief personally
Hussain Sharifi

Independent research, coordinated with existing care.

Every question is researched against the available records and wider context, because context changes what the evidence means in practice.

The research does not stop at prescriptions. Nutrition, lifestyle, supplements and conventional treatment are weighed by the same standard, the published evidence, whichever category it comes from. Where a non-drug approach has strong evidence, the research says so plainly; where it does not, that is said just as plainly.

Experience is labelled as experience. Commercial relationships are disclosed. The final call on any treatment always belongs to you and the professionals who know your case.

Where relevant, the work is coordinated with the professionals already involved.

Technology can accelerate enquiry. It cannot supply judgement. Work is undertaken where claims require scrutiny, consequences must be understood and discretion matters. Evidence determines the conclusion. Responsibility remains human.

The full working method is written at Methods.

06 · Asked before paying

Five questions, answered plainly.

What exactly am I buying?

A Clarity Brief for £395, fixed: one agreed question, answered in a 3 to 5 page written Brief. A clear separation of what the records establish, what remains uncertain and what to ask next.

Do I have to subscribe to get a useful result?

The Clarity Brief is complete on its own. Nobody must subscribe to receive a useful result.

What does Monthly Follow-Through include?

One follow-up question a month, up to 10 pages of new records, a 30-minute review conversation and a 1 to 3 page What Changed update. Available after a completed Clarity Brief, while the same agreed question remains active.

Why not just ask a general AI tool?

Technology can accelerate search and drafting. It cannot carry responsibility for scope, source quality or the conclusion. Each Brief is tied to an agreed question, named sources and one person accountable for the work.

How does cancellation work?

No long minimum term. Cancel before the next renewal without giving a reason or attending a retention call. Every renewal reminder repeats the amount, the renewal date and the cancellation route.

One question, organised properly.

Starting is a fit request, not a payment.
